Last Thursday night renown snowboard photographer Dan Himbrechts put on a joint exhibition with digital artist and friend Oz Dean (known as ForceFeed:Swede). The show was held at the MTV gallery in downtown Sydney. It was packed with well over 200 people showing up. For snowboarding and Sydney, that’s a fantastic effort and really goes to show the quality of Dan and Oz’s work. Congrats to both the guys and thanks for letting POP be a part of it. Well, it’s taken a few days but I now feel good enough to sit down and look at a computer. If you didn’t make it down to the Melbourne premiere of Two Weeks In then you missed out, but don’t feel bad because I don’t think we would have had room for you anyway, the place was packed. We didn’t do a door count, but I guess it was something close to 400 people. Rick filmed a time lapse which he should have online as soon as he can bring himself to start Final Cut again. Plus there is an infamous video of Woody being a beast at the after party which should be the new YouTube sensation soon. Thanks for everyone who came, I hope you had some fun. Last night we stopped off at the first leg of our national premiere tour of our new film “Two Weeks In”. It premiered at two venues in New South Wales, we were able to get down to the Roxy in Parramatta for the 8pm showing. We were pretty stoked to see lots of familiar faces there considering it was a Wednesday night and also apparently the finale of Underbelly was on, which us lucky Victorian’s don’t get. Thanks to all that came out for the premiere, and especially Jason at ESS for organizing it. Melbourne Premiere tomorrow night and Brisbane on the 17th! See you there.
