How the hell I didn’t see this the day it came out I have no idea, but Jared Souney of Souney Media has put together a fantastic interview with David Benedek for YoBeat. How something like this is available for free is beyond me. For me, it’s incredibly interesting to see someone like David Benedek talk about his take on the snowboard world. You can quite clearly see the strain on his face when he talks about X Games. Like it’s actually hurting him that snowboarding went in that direction. Very compelling stuff. I’m hoping this passion and intelligent debate makes it into David’s new book, Current State: Snowboarding, which is out sometime next year. Part Two is below the cut.
