(Photo by Chris Boadle) I came across this on the weekend… Books on the surf industry companies are hit and miss (mostly miss) but Phil Jarratt seems to have hit on a great story here about the success’ and disasters that have happened at Quiksilver over the last few decades. I believe that Jarratt has been a biographer of the company for a while and he created The Mountain and the Wave – but from reading the excerpt to this book, he seems a bit more separated here and is telling the personal story behind the company and its founders. It is definitely worth reading – Check it out here. I’ll get a better review up when I’ve read the whole book.
