Perisher Park Update – Monday August 2nd

This has taken us a little longer to get up but the good guys at Perisher have been firing through the info. They tell me, “The Superpipe is complete, it was good cutting snow and turned out nice. Bryan, our Canadian park groomer, is rebuilding the number 3 jump right now …

That was sent through on Friday along with a note to say, “We did a rebuild last night in the Slopestyle and with the good snowmaking temps we’ve had this season our park groomers were able to finish the quad jump line that now goes 30 foot step down, 40 foot table/hipper, 50 foot step down and finishing with the newly built 70 foot step down.  The jib line goes 6m “Tall” box, 11m Flat Down rail, 6m x 9m Flat Down “Combo” box, 9m Donkey rail, 6m “C” box, 6m Up / Down rail and finishing with a 9m flat box. We have a bit more space and will add more features tonight. Leichardt, Blue Cow park and Yabby rider cross are the same for now and will see more features once we get more snow. We now have 14 jibs and 7 jumps over the four park areas.” They’re basically taking this to a whole new level.

Check the shots out above – looking amazing and with a freash 61cm on the ground in the last 24 hours, things are only set to get better. If you have a chance, peep the mountain blog over here.
