Hawk Buys Birdhouse

Tony Hawk has purchased Birdhouse skateboards outright and is now the sole owner. According to the release on Transworld Business, Hawk came to an arrangement with Blitz Distribution President, Per Welinder, to purchase the brand and be involved in design and team while leaving the distribution side of things with Blitz. Hawk and Welinder have been business partners for 15 years. Blitz distribution also handles Baker, Flip, Fury, Sk8mafia, and Hook-Ups. Click here for the full release.
