Ever since the global economy shat it’s pants, there has been a slew of rumors surrounding various companies and their parent companies and everything above and below. Considering it’s nearly the weekend, here are a few of the rumors I have heard this week for you to think about;

Vans is discontinuing snow product.

Billabong is going with the flow and are very close to (or has) purchas(ed)ing a large snowboard company.

Burton has purchased a couple more companies (no word yet on what).

Quiksilvers’ dire financial situation has pumped the brakes a little over at Mervin.

And it’s anyone’s guess what’s happening at DC…
