What do you do if you want 7.5 million euro to build a snowboard arena in your country’s capital city? Well, if your Terje, you gather up the posse and head down to the mayors office with a massive pile of snow and lay down a McTwist in his grill. It’s pretty amazing to see a guy that is that famous willing to go to those lengths to help out his community. I can think of a few other sports where you’re lucky to not get punched in the face for watching.

So you might think that being in a hit TV show would make you forget about you roots. You might also think that the phrase “keeping it real” is over used. But then again, you probably haven’t seen this. Jason Lee is so amazing, it’s hard to believe he is a Scientologist. I hope he doesn’t turn gay or crazy too.

So Billabong’s XXL competition riped the lid off of it again. The above clip is filmed at the famed “Chopes” in Tahiti and of course, hilarity ensued. And by hilarity, I mean fucking gnraly 30 foot slabs of water smashing peoples skulls in. Oh yeah, and Maya Gabeira just became the best girl surfer in the world, I know she didn’t make it on that one wave, but that takes some balls that only a Brazilian girl could have. Respect ya mad dog.

I’m sure most of you already know this, but backcountry guy John Jackson just signed to Forum and Special Blend. There’s a press release below the cut but I’ll sum it all up for you here right now: John Jackson has brown hair, blue eyes and enjoys fishing. Oh and he’s filming for a new Forum video… Ohhh….Yeeaaahhhh….
