Last night we stopped off at the first leg of our national premiere tour of our new film “Two Weeks In”. It premiered at two venues in New South Wales, we were able to get down to the Roxy in Parramatta for the 8pm showing. We were pretty stoked to see lots of familiar faces there considering it was a Wednesday night and also apparently the finale of Underbelly was on, which us lucky Victorian’s don’t get. Thanks to all that came out for the premiere, and especially Jason at ESS for organizing it. Melbourne Premiere tomorrow night and Brisbane on the 17th! See you there.

OK so for those of you that don’t know the Maloof brothers are some of the richest businessmen in America, they currently own multiple casino’s in Vegas, and one of the worst teams in the NBA, the Sacramento Kings. Basically they now think skateboarding is cool, and are putting a small portion of their money into “The worlds biggest skateboard comp”, and by small portion of money I mean $450,000! God damn! You could live in a house like this with that kind of money, or even this, but maybe not this. Anyways at least they were kind enough to invite Australia’s Jake Duncombe and Jake Brown to the July 11-13 contest, best of luck to them and here’s hoping they can bring home some blood money from the Vegas heartland.

Fast Times Skate shop out of Frankston are always keeping the kids happy, this time they put on a little BBQ at Mornington skatepark this past Saturday afternoon. Of course Mornington locals Geoff Cook and Co. were there to get there skate and eat on, and damn can those guys skate their local park, they all shred! Anyways a good time was had by all. A big thanks to Tebby for putting it all together, now go down and support your local skateshop!
