Victorian based apparel label, Mylestone, have launched their website (click here to check it out) and although light on content at the moment, I’m assured that there will be more up there soon. Myles Maddock, founder of Mylestone, has been working hard on this for a few months now and it’s looking the goods. They haven’t got the apparel line on the site yet, so hassle Myles about it by emailing him here.

Names apparently no longer on the global list include Romain De Marchi, DCP, Keir Dillon, Ross Powers, JP Solberg and Anne-Flore Marxer. Check a full list of list changes over here.

Mitch Williams won the Battle at Baw Baw - Matt Sedunary came second with Tom Pelley taking out third. I don’t have details on the win, nor do I have photos or video at this stage… all I have is a phone call from Drew to tell me who got on the podium. Check back soon and we’ll have photos, video and a more detailed wrap of the day for you.
UPDATE: It was a rad day and everyone was stoked on it. The weather was great, there was cheap food and the park was the best it’s been. Read on for some photos. Video to come shortly.

We originally called it a few months ago but now we have the official release, Neff have signed Eric Koston, Terry Kennedy, Guy Mariano and Braydon Szafranski. It’s a pretty amazing team Neff have put together - Shaun obviously knows how to do shit right and says in the release “I believe this is one of the most well rounded teams in the game, covering all realms of talent and style that make up skateboarding.” Check under the cut for the official press release.

Many of you will already know this but because of the sheer size of the current passing bandwagon, we thought we’d let a few n00bs in on the fact that our site is… in fact, iPhone accessible. And has been for like a year… yeah, we’re ahead of it (by we, I mean Drew. Until recently I still thought the internet was a series of tubes). So, because of all the new users on the iPhone at the moment, we thought we’d run a little contest - first one to email us a photo of them peeping the POP site on their iPhone gets a copy of Mtn.Lab 1.5 - if you’re on the 3G version, you’ll get a little something extra too! And I promise it wont just be me spitting in the package in a jealous rage. Email us here

I might be last on this but I was watching Nelson Aspen’s Hollywood report this morning when a new commercial for Mt Buller came on… It’s an unusual angle they’ve taken with this one, using Parkour (is it a sport? Cmon, it’s just silly walking) to sell snowboarding/skiing. Here’s hoping the creators managed to get accounts for other sports - cricket to sell football? Golf to sell curling? What about extreme-pogo-sticking to sell chess? Chess has needed to hit that ‘extreme and edgy’ youth market for a while now.
