Dedicated To The Shot
It is not a stretch to say that photographers are the backbone of the action sports industry. Not only do skate, surf and snow mags live and die on the strength of their images, none of the athletes would have profiles, and none of the brands would have exposure, without photographers. And none of the rest of us would have anything to put on our bedroom walls.

Ford Focus Titanium Review
You can’t watch Ken Block do his Gymkhana thing and not be a little interested in what Ford is up to with their small to medium cars at the moment. Block’s latest creation, the adapted Fiesta called H.F.H.V. which covers several different driving competitions in one car, piqued that interest for me and when Ford called with the opportunity to drive the 2011 Focus, I was all about it.

A much edited down version of this interview originally appeared in issue 18 of Pop Magazine. Steve Berra gave up hours of his time to sit with our writer, Steele Saunders, and talk about The Berrics, his history and his opinions on the direction of skateboarding. It’s an amazing interview – the full text is being released in four parts, this is part one. All up it is 17,000 words and I’ve listened to it and read it over a dozen times so far. We’re releasing …
Bells Round 3
It validated everyones claims that the swell was big, and with that, kicked everyone off the beach as it was declared “too dangerous”. Not too dangerous for the surfers, but all the same they were pushing it right to the boundary with the last sections of their precious waves, taking them precariously close to the rocks.
Bells begins
They’re all in town. Torquay was once again filled with the worlds best surfers for the 2011, 50th anniversary Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach in Torquay.

Check the video – the old buggers can still kill it.
