Here you have a crack team of literary excellence. These guys can write the shit out of it, and aren’t scarred to do so. So if you can’t handle this no holds barred truthiness, then step aside sister because we are coming through. Sure, POP can tell you the news, but only these guys can feel you the news.
Ben Hoban has been told that his writing is potentially skateboarding suicide. Hailing from the mean streets of Franghanistan, Ben was just a kid from the hood, trying to make it big in skate. But after years of being in the industry he’s reached a realization… And POP provides the right platform for that realization. If Ben’s writing is skate suicide, you can bet we’re all behind him yelling “Jump!” Read on for a few notes from the edge.
Paul Colby is a long time friend of POP and is also the other half to The Ideas Factory, a Canadian design company. He just happens to live in the city with the second highest expat community of Australians in the world. I am, of course, talking about Vancouver. Between drunken yelling of Aussie, Aussie, Aussie and brief stints down at the corner of Pain and Wasting, Colby will be updating us on the happenings over in BC. If you’re reading us from the west coast of Canadia (deliberate misspelling), be on the lookout for him…
