The Rob Blog: Burton Open Day 1

Hey Guys! I just got in from Day 1 of the Burton Open. It was an early start, the course opened at 8am for practise. The plan was to have pre qualifiers starting at 9.40am where they would take top 25, and qualifiers following right after at 12.30pm where top 10 would go through to the semis. But the day was going really slowly and they ran out of time. They decided top 16 from pre-qualifers would advanced straight to the semis. No official results yet but I'm hoping I made it. The course was mellow... Two small jumps, one wild jump at the end and a few rails. You couldn't get too gnarly on the top jumps. My run was 5, 7, 1080... It was a solid run so fingers crossed I make it through, I'll keep you posted. Here are a few shots of my buddies Koia and Clint. Forgot to get one of the course, sorry... My mind was focused more on whether I bring out the double cork.
