The Rob Blog: First Kids Can Ride Trip

With a lot of help from Rhylla at Mt Buller, my gorgeous girlfriend Alice and Geoff Walker from Mansfield Secondary College, the first Kids Can Ride trip has begun. I started Kids Can Ride because I wanted to snowboard with kids who love snowboarding. I also wanted to give kids who have never been snowboarding the opportunity to try it and hopefully they too will fall in love with the sport. After an easy three hour car trip we arrived at Mt Buller earlier this afternoon, opened our Billabong packages then headed down to the K2 rental store to hire the kids gear. After that we grabbed some pizza from Uncle Pats, then a movie at the Mt Buller Cinema and now we're resting up for a big day shredding tomorrow. I'll be back tomorrow with an update on the first day shredding with Kids Can Ride.

Congratulations Robbie and all those involved in the program- I'm sure you will get as much out of it as the kids. It's a mind blowing experience going boarding for the first time, so to do it with Robbie and for free -well it would be like the best Christmas present ever.
