I’m not exactly sure what’s happening with Robbie. I was told by Trigger Brothers to change his part for the DVD so I did. I’d expect we’ll hear more about why over the next few days.

Alex, maybe I missed something? If it’s true he left - why should he get acknowledgment from a film that was paid for by a sponsor he abandoned? I mean, he’s amazing and deserves his recognition - but it doesn’t mean he should get priority over riders who remain loyal to their team, does it?
The Russian’s part is equally deserving of an ender. No parks, street rails only and imperfect conditions. Looks like he put in some solid effort and arguably should have had the ender anyway.
i’m not sure if you guys are gay or trigger brothers are..I just lost all respect for triggers and pop for being so petty….its a free movie for god sake, im sure Robbie will remember his mates if he lands and international film part, and it wont be you guys..mates are mates no matter what colour you are right!

Not many top movies have an ender with only rails…. tech 9 films are probably the closest and are not considered the highest quality movies. Don’t get me worng, Alex’s rails kill it, but Robbie had tech rail shots, and jumps…

Who really cares? Its an awsome free movie thathighlights the great riders we have here in Australia. While you were all bickering you may have missed the trailer for the new NCP films flick up on the Transworld website. Im surprised POP hasnt posted it up here yet. Robbie has a couple of killer shots in the trailer and I cant wait for the full film to come out.
Just want to clear some things up.
@ bob: Yeah I saw that trailer and more of Robbie’s NCP footage and his part is going to be radder than we all think. I can’t wait to see how the snowboard world takes Robdawg! You’re right; I probably should have put it up on the POP website along with that footage from Stevens Pass. But to be honest, if I posted about all the coverage Robbie has been getting lately (his K2 ad, his new outerwear line etc) it would be a full time job. The kid is killing it!
@ Yowch: Although we had creative control over the original film, the final say comes from those who paid for the project. Their reasons are their own and not a fight I want to get involved with. But we were told to change the film and actually had to pull it from the duplication house just hours before it went to press.
@ Josh: Again, these decisions were made above me but if it’s true Robbie only left after the DVD release, why would they ask for the re-edit over a week ago?
Also, it’s pointless debating what qualifies as an ‘ender’ part. As it’s totally up to the viewer. I’m not going to argue with anyone about it because I think both Robbie and Alex are equally amazing snowboarders. Obviously how the movie was at the premiere was how I liked it. However things are different now because of changing circumstance that aren’t in my control.
Finally I think we should all keep in mind that I’ve grown up snowboarding with everyone of the kids in the film (and not just the Trigger team but the friends too). I consider everyone of them my friend and would do anything to help them out. So don’t tell me about ‘mates are mates’ because I know all about it…

Robbie rips no matter who he rides for, he’s taking the standard of Aussie riding to a higher level and gaining US ALL international recognition. For that he deserves your support regardless.
Robbie is an inspiration to snowboarding in Australia. he’s taken our riding to the next level.

this sucks - I’m a little ove everyone talking like his. I put my heart and soul into the movie over our summer and it gets me down to hear people pick apart the movie and the riders gave so much time for the project. Whether you like it or not isn’t the issue. if any one want to talk then call trigger and they’ll give you my mobile so i can clear any questions you have.

- I also took robbie off the last part because of this reason.
although I would never want to take him out of the movie, I had the option to move his part. at the time he had told me he was looking to ride for another store and was unable to tell me his decision berfore the movie had to be pressed. In that situation i had to make a decision and i moved his part to guarantee that we had a trigger team rider as the ender. simple as that. Robbie is a great friend of mine and I would never let politics get in the way of our friendship
The russian worked harder than anyone to get his vidio part and i am so stoked that we could put him at the end. “yagatoff” Russian!

It’s working for me. What happens when you click on the link? Do you have Quicktime installed? What browser are you using? What internet connection do you have? If it’s broadband maybe try right clicking the link and ‘Save Target As..’ or ‘Save Link As..’

Chances are you’re just dropping out. It’s a big file to download over HTTP. Use a good download manager and you should be good. I recommended wxDownload Fast (get it here, it’s free: http://dfast.sourceforge.net/). Otherwise, try one of the torrents if people are still seeding it.
