Sapient rider Clint Allan came second to Todd Richards in the first round of the Ultimate Boarder competition. This is the first I have heard of the Ultimate Boarder comp but according to the site it is a “triathlon for a new generation” involving pro’s and am’s competing across surfing, skating and snowboarding. In the snow round held at Squaw Valley, Clint got his second and Mitch Allan got third. You can check out the full wrap over here at Snowboard Mag. Clint placed 14th in the surf round and is currently in second place overall. If he places well in skate, he has the potential to take out the $30K prize! Good Luck Clint!
