Ages ago we propped WeSC on their headphones in the mag… well now they have this pretty amazing commercial floating around. Gotta love Jason Lee. If you’re in Melbourne and keen to score yourself a pair, head down to Lawton Knows Ruby in St. Kilda - one of my favorite stores in Melbourne right now. - Dave : It's on the NYSE. The US arm bought the Aus arm a few years back.
- Drew : Is Quiksilver Australia public? I think it's just America and Quik Aus isn't?
- Dave : But I could be wrong.
- Dave : ie. if you get above 51% you can force all shareholders to sell to you.
- Dave : A controlling share can be taken and a forced - or 'hostile' - takeover can happen. My understanding is that there is an ownership threshhold set in an MOA that allows a forced sale by everyone.
