My source on this isn’t iron-clad (read: I’m just making it up). But I’m pretty sure Adam Sandler is getting hooked up by DC. He was on Letterman last week wearing a DC jersey and then he dropped their name the other night on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart while promoting his new film. I’m not sure what any of this means, but its been a slow news day so I thought I’d just make some up…

You guys are behind the times… Adam Sandler has been getting hooked by DC for years, like back in the Carroll / Howard days. They did a special shoe for him.

- Drew : Is Quiksilver Australia public? I think it's just America and Quik Aus isn't?
- Dave : But I could be wrong.
- Dave : ie. if you get above 51% you can force all shareholders to sell to you.
- Dave : A controlling share can be taken and a forced - or 'hostile' - takeover can happen. My understanding is that there is an ownership threshhold set in an MOA that allows a forced sale by everyone.
