When we were shooting the headwear and footwear editorials for Issue 10, Gourlay asked if I could make him a little promo clip for his studio. I had all my camera gear there for a shot in the magazine anyway, so Steve and I quickly put something together. It’s nothing too serious, I just thought you’d like to see it. If any of you out there need photos taken, be it fashion, product or event related, I can not recommened the Thomo & Coach studios enough.

- CRACKERS : I am outside of Aus and I did look up the participation rates, higher then i though i admit but no where near soccer ,netball etc and contact sports always have a relatively low amount of participants so comparing to afl or rugby that isnt hard to beat. I dont know if you could put the demise of the NBL just down to mismanagement either? maybe im just comparing it to when it had its big craze days in oz, no doubt it will have that again i suppose.

If a company was to use anothers work without any agreement they should be ashamed of themselves for many reasons. Would this fall under IP (Intelletual Property) laws??
- bennyc : i think you will find basketball participation rates rival afl.. at least in victoria.. i play in mixed games every wednesday but there are open age games everynight of the week and obviously all ages on the weekends.. and theres a huge nba following in aus
- Ryder : Considering basketball sits atop the participation rates along with soccer in Australia I don't think it could quite be called dead. Yes the NBL has been completely mismanaged to the point we now no longer have a viable pro comp but I think you would be surprised how many people actively or outside of that follow the NBA.

- joe : any one with a computer could have made those plans for that comp... in my eye they were poorly drawn i would have done better point being i would have made the car feature way more lame . when you say having a crack do you mean just stating the fact that your going to hold Australias biggest snow event, get everyone into it and talking about how awesome it is going to be and how ballistyx does so much good and then say its not happening. Having a crack, or having a joke, seems similar

They're putting money into things, just look at the drawings/plans they had drawn up. They clearly invested money into the project and did they're best to get it off the ground. It costs a small fortune just to cover public liability for an event, let alone the rest of costs. I think you need to put in your time and pay your dues before you sling anymore shit champ.

- Ryder : I have had the Iphone for 12 months now, and must say, it has had poor call quality (drop outs and strange errors with screen ding different things to what is actually going on). Also, as a user if excel and PDFs for work I find it frustrating that you cant save and edit hence I would consider the blackberry next...if they could get a phone that was even close to the width in your pocket of the iphone.

- Hicks : No problem, I just finshed reading the 'Ballistyx Guide To Promotion'. I know how to fix this. I'm going to do my part for Australia snowboarding. Next year I'm having an event to coincide with the Olympics. It's going to be at the MCG and ACDC will be there (along with Bliss n Eso obviously). It'll be the biggest event in the history of Australia. Stay tuned for all the hype followed by an inevitable cancellation. But at least I'm trying, unlike my local shop.

Yesterday I went and test drove Mini’s new ‘eco’ car at it’s launch in Melbourne. To be honest, I like the guys at Mini so much I would struggle to say anything bad about it however I got lucky cause there isn’t much wrong with this little car.
