- Guest_4820 : Scotty J into the finals of the US open «link»
- Banga : so much hate, if Burton wasn't around to prop up the rest of the snowboard industry, the cooler hesh brands wouldn't be able to operate, Guest 2329, what board do you ride?
- Guest_2923 : abbey lee
- Guest_2923 : abbey lee
- Guest_2329 : Burton stopped caring about the good of snowboarding a long time ago. Only a punter brand anyways. No surprise they are doing everything possible to increase profit margins.
- Trav : Guest 4894, Essa folded recently, how ironic
- Guest_4894 : burton socks get holes in like a week. essa socks is were its at.
- Guest_2249 : They make really good socks!
- and Again : boards & materials. Just as some of the old hard core surfers out there probably hate what Quiksilver has done to surfing, there are going to be generations of professional athletes making a pretty dam good living from the sport they love purely because of the vision and drive of the pioneers. They might be evolving into a company that you might not like but they should be respected for what they have done.
- Hang on again : Guest 4510. No. I'm not a Burton employee, & I have never bought a Burton board. But I have been a snowboarder for 21years & as Steve just said Burton has been there from the start, helped grow snowboarding to the goliath it is today & even though some might hate the power & commercialism that Burton represents, every snowboarder out there, even though they might not realise how, have been touch by the power of Burton. Either directly by buying it's products or indirectly by the evolution of
- steve : I wish other companies put back into snowboarding to the same degree as Burton does
- Guest_4510 : Hang On you wouldnt happen too be a Burton employee now would ya
- Hang on 2 : Burton then those jobs would't have existed. Burton might be to proud to say they are struggling but they are trying to survive. Imagine how many more job losses there would be if they went under, especially with the large amount of brands they have.. Food for thought..
- Hang On : It's the banks and financial institutions that have raped the American economy. If that hadn't have happened, then people might have had enough money to go snowboarding and Burton might have been able to remain financially viable in the USA. I know there are some Burton haters out there but when your a big company sometimes you need to do what you need to survive. As for supporting the roots of your company, they will always be there. The job losses are bad but lets face it, if it wasn't for
- Trav : House of 1817 vid «link»
- Nicolas : Way to support the American economy and the roots of your company too Burton. Let me guess all Burton boards are now Nideckers as well. Company in crisis right here.
- Guest_4050 : link works for me...
- ggggg : the link wont work
- Yeah Burton : «link»
- Yeah Burton : Burton have decided to move operations from Vermont to Austria... costing 43 employees jobs, way to look after the people that helped build the company!

Not content with the Burton team blog, Tom Pelley has joined forces with photographer extrodinaire and well known superhunk Liam Kaska to create a travel blog. I spoke to Liam yesterday, from Poland, where the handrails are apparently ridiculous. These guys are super hard workers and well motivated so expect to see some good things on the blog and in upcoming media in the not too distant future. Check it out here.
