Sean Malto Takes 2011 Street League Championship

Photos: DC Facebook Page

Sean Malto has put a stop to Nyjah Huston’s Street League winning streak over the weekend taking out the 2011 Championship in Newark, NJ. The comp had to shift times to accommodate a little wind and rain being experienced on the east coast at the moment and Malto was a late inclusion into the field after Tommy Sandoval pulled out due to injury. All things came together for the Kansas City kid who skated consistently all day and managed to take it out over Huston and Cole by 1.9 points in an intense finish. Malto said, “To be up against the top ten guys of the series and to win after my injury is just an amazing feeling.” He takes away US$200,000 and the championship watch and ring for his effort. Footage to come soon.
