In news that should surprise no-one who’s seen Dane Reynolds getting about wearing shoes that aren’t made by his footwear sponsors at DC, the penny finally dropped for everyone concerned, and Dane no longer has to pay for his Vans.
 
As Dane sez in the clip below, “I’ve been wearing the shoes pretty much my whole life anyways,” and now he’s on their surf team. Vans now have an extremely strong surf crew, with Wade Goodall recently leaving Kustom to provide a bit of balance to the company’s US focus (the Florence and Gudauskas brothers, Joel Tudor, Alex Knost, Nathan Fletcher, Shea Lopez …)
