Burton US Open This Week

The Burton US Open goes down in Vail, Colorado this week with riders competing for a share of US$343,000. Practice is on yesterday and today with the Slope semis starting Wednesday and the rest of the event rolling out from there. There’s quite a few names missing from the riders list – guys who are recovering from the hectic Olympic schedule and the media hype after, or who have taken off somewhere remote to ride. However, you will still get to see the likes of Australian Scotty James with Danny Davis, Louie Vito, Ryo Aono, Stale Sandbech, Chas Guldemond, Mark McMorris, Peetu Piiroinen, Sebastien Toutant, Seppe Smits, Torstein Horgmo and more doing their thing… So not shy of talent for the event at all. We will be posting result over the week but you should definitely check out this Transworld write up on the event.
